Goals for the project
Having friendly relations with GrapeCity, I was happy to contribute in their calendar ideas. I wouldnt let go the chance like this where I can use my talent to the fullest, have liberty to do anything.

The goal was to create a calendar which can be a milestone. Which is not just beautiful images, but a theme, a story which can make employees, clients and managenment happy, and gives creative people something to think about.

Challenges
GrapeCity Japan is pioneer in calendar making, Mr. Broman, son of chairman Mr. Paul Broman shoot calendar with his team at different locations of the world.

That calendar production team have a theme, they go to every cultural center and shoot Broman dressed up in the local costume and playing a local musical instrument, thats really a cool theme. My challenge was to create something which have a meaningful theme keeping India location in mind. What could it be?

Execution
GrapeCity have a state-of-the-art building at Noida, so I thought why not use the building as a part of thee theme. I shot photos of different places of the building capturing the elements the building is made of.

Another primary part of the theme was folk tales, what if I use folk tales images, related to the Bible phrases and blend it with the building element images? It would have lesson in every page, with beutiful folklore images and the building theme in the background.

So here is the result and I received huge number of compliments and great testimonial by Nanae Aoki, there was shortage of printed calendars imidiately after printing. They got it re-printed.

January: I have used the wooden floor at the coffee bar and a scene of boy in warm clothing. The colors I have choose which can give warmth, sometimes designers directly link the season to the month, they will show ice-capped peaks for January, but if you show opposite image it would be good effect on a person. Like ice-capped mountains are for June, not January.

February: I have used grass photo from the lawn, bright colors and happy crowd to put some smile after a long winter.

March: I have use sandstone wall texture the building is made of and a girl enjoying spring season.

April: Days are getting hot, so I have used water, as GrapeCity building have fountains. And a bear catching fish in his own style, and keeping cool too.

May: People in Delhi are waiting for rain. So I have used rainwashed glass as GrapeCity have extensive use of glasses all around the building.

June: Extreme hot. So the ice cream stall and Iranian rug from the reception area.

July: Rainy season, greenry is everywhere, so I have used a leaf as background.

August: Chill is in the air, so coffee table and dense forrest.

September: Days are somewhat grey, so grey stones.

October: Festival time, harvesting time and Holloween. So there is a scene from farm, orange tint and warm sofa cover in the background.

November: days are getting cold, so I have used warm sofacover from cafeteria as background.

December: Winter is full on, so I have used wooden jaali decoration from the front of the building.
