My own logo works, just for fun

Goals for the work
To come up with a logo for myself, I just took this as a random subject for my logo excercise. What if I am a brand an Art Director, should I keep a simple all standard compliance logo or should I go for a multi color logo or make it sing every thing about me?
Challenges
The three questions in the above paragraph itself became a challenge for me, what do I do?
Execution
Well, I went for all three kind of logo. Here is the first one:
The simple one which have initials and it is forming a shape of fish or eye:

The one with clear meaning:

I started with a pencil and initials ‘RS’, and after some exploration it took a different shape. In this one there are two different objects merging, mouse (symbol of digital art) and color palette (symbol of traditional art) – making a statement that I am skillfull in digital, and also have knowledge of traditional visual art. I have also put my initials ‘RS’ which you can see forming the ‘roller’ of the mouse. Can you find one short-coming of this logo?
